Registered Users Login Assistance

Registered Users Login Assistance

Are you registered? Have you validated your email address after completing the “Submit a Request to be a Registered User” form? When you register, you will receive an email from info@shiptacenter.org with a validation link that is good for 72 hours. Your state leadership team has five working days to approve or reject your registration request. You will receive an email alerting you once it is approved.

Forgot Your Password? If you have an approved account at portal.shiptacenter.org (accessed also from the SHIP Login button at shiphelp.org), you can click the Forgot Password link below the login windows to reset your password.

  • If you do not receive the “SHIP-TA Center Portal Login Information” email from the DoNotReply@shiptcenter.org address, check your junk mail or spam.

  • If you still cannot find the password reset email, contact us for technical assistance at info@shiptacenter.org or call 877-8392675 and say “Center” when prompted.

Passwords are set to expire every 90 days. The first time you log in after the 90 days have passed, you will be directed to change your password.

Check your browser. We recommend using Chrome or Firefox to log in. We have limited support for Internet Explorer.

Clear your cache. In most computer-based web browsers, you can open menus used to clear cache, cookies, and history, by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Delete/span>(Windows)orCommand-Shift-Delete (Mac).

If you commonly access the login page with a bookmark, try this instead: Go to shiphelp.org and click the SHIP Login button with the orange padlock. A fresh login page will appear. Enter your username and password.

Are you receiving odd messages? Do you see an “Invalid GUID” or a “Locked Account” notice? Wait 15 minutes and try again. Clear your cache (Control F5) and click the “Forgot Password” link to recover a lost password by sending the link to your email.

Is your technology compatible? Our developers recommend Windows 11+, Chrome 61+, and Firefox 55+ for users to ensure website security and functionality. When taking an exam, we also recommend a wired connection.

Who do I contact if I need assistance? You should contact your state administrative team if this is a time-sensitive login. They can assist in password recovery and reschedule your exams if required. If you need additional troubleshooting support, you can email info@shiptacenter.org and include a screenshot so we can better assist you.
