You can ask your supervisor for an account , or you can register online by following these steps:
A SHIP director or administrator for your state or territory will need to approve your request, and this may take up to 5 business days. If you already have an account to log in on the www.portal.shiptacenter.org page but do not see the STARS menu after logging in, contact your supervisor to change your user role and privileges to allow access to the STARS menu and SHIP Resource Library.
The national State Health Insurance Assistance Program Technical Assistance Center (SHIP TA Center) provides training and technical assistance to support all STARS users. The SHIP TA Center provides the services listed above. For help with usernames, passwords, and Application Programming Interface (API) technology, contact the STARS system contractor Booz Allen Hamilton.
