Make a meaningful difference in your community by volunteering with SHIP!

Our unbiased volunteers help people with Medicare and their families better understand their care and benefits.

Volunteers help with a wide variety of tasks, including assisting with enrollment, comparing plans, giving presentations, or providing office support. You don’t need any prior experience in health insurance, so you can step in with confidence and receive training along the way.

As a SHIP volunteer, you’ll not only help others but also learn new skills and stay connected within your community. SHIP has a variety of opportunities available, such as one-on-one counseling and staffing exhibit booths/tables, so you can find a role that fits your interests and schedule. Watch the short videos below to hear about the joy of volunteering with SHIP.
